Directional Travel Pedals

The farther the pedals are pushed down, the faster the travel speed.

Reverse Direction Travel Pedal (1.) - Push down on the left pedal for reverse travel. The machine will always travel toward the sprockets.

Forward Direction Travel Pedal (2.) - Push down on the right pedal for forward travel. The machine will always travel toward the idlers.

Brakes On (3.) - Release the travel pedals to apply the brakes.

Steering Control

Spot Left Turn (1.) - Move the lever to the left to reverse the left track, allowing a quick left turn (counter rotation).

Pivot Left Turn - Move the lever to the left to stop the left track, allowing the machine to turn gradually. Either directional travel pedal must be used to allow a pivot turn.

Straight (2.) - Move the lever to this position to allow the machine to go straight in either direction.

Spot Right Turn (3.) - Move the lever to the right to reverse the right track, allowing a quick right turn (counter rotation).

Pivot Right Turn - Move the lever to the right to stop the right track, allowing the machine to turn gradually. Either directional travel pedal must be used to allow a pivot turn.

Governor Control Lever

Governor Control Lever - Controls the engine speed (rpm).

Increase - Move the lever back (1) to increase the engine speed.

Decrease - Move the lever forward (2) to decrease the engine speed.

Turn the key to OFF on Perkins Engine to stop the engine.

Deutz Engine Only - Pull the detent knob (1) up and move the governor lever (2) all the way forward to stop the engine.

Hydraulic Activation Control

Hydraulic Functions Disengaged - Move all controls to the HOLD position. Lift the lever (1) to raise the armrest.

When the armrest is up, all hydraulic and travel operations are inoperable except steering and those controls in use.

Hydraulic Functions Engaged - Push the armrest down and make sure it is all the way down into the latch.

Hydraulics are now operational.

Transmission Speed Switch

Normal Speed (1.) - Use this position for normal traveling and working speeds.

Creeper Speed (2.) - Push the switch down to this position when necessary to engage a very slow speed. The indicator in the switch will light when the creep speed is on. Switch off when not necessary.

NOTICE

Engage creep speed only when the machine is stopped. Damage to the transmission could result if not observed.
