Personal injury can result from air pressure. Personal injury can result without following proper procedure. When using pressure air, wear a protective face shield and protective clothing. Maximum air pressure at the nozzle must be less than 205 kPa (30 psi) for cleaning purposes.

Raise the hood. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hood Control".

1. Remove bolts from grill (1).

2. Remove grill to access the air conditioner condenser (3) and the fuel cooler (2).

3. To access the aftercooler core, remove the air conditioner condenser (3) and the fuel cooler (2) by removing the six bolts (4).

4. Inspect the aftercooler core and clean the aftercooler core. You can use compressed air, high-pressure water, or steam to remove dust and other debris from the aftercooler core. However, the use of compressed air is preferred.

5. Install the six bolts (4) to attach the air conditioner condenser (2) and the fuel cooler (3) back on.

6. Install grill and tighten the bolts. Lower the hood.
