Automatic Lubrication System Grease - Add
Show/hide table
The lines and the pipes in the automatic lubrication system are under extremely high pressure. Do not loosen any joints or plugs while the pump is operating. Serious injury can result from high pressure grease spraying out suddenly. |

The lubricant can be replenished by replacing the drum or by filling the drum with a paddle. The lubricator holds 54 kg (120 lb) of lubricant when the system is empty.
The following steps are instructions on replacing the drum:
- Loosen the nuts that are used to hold the cover and the drum in place.
- Attach a lifting device to the drum. Fasten the lifting device to the lifting eye overhead.
- Lift the drum and lower the drum through the floor.
- Attach a lifting device to the new drum of lubricant and raise the new drum into position.
