When transporting the work tool on the host machine, position the work tool so the stick can be moved under the boom. Carry the boom as low as possible.

When you must transport the work tool on another vehicle, position the work tool with the jaws in the OPEN position. Position the work tool with the jaws flat on the bed of the vehicle and with the lifting eye in an UPWARD position.

The VT-30 and VT-40 are equipped with a pin that locks the rotator. The VT-50 and VT-60 are equipped with a plate that locks the rotator. The transport locking device prevents the upper housing from moving when the work tool is transported.
Note: The transport locking device must be installed before the work tool will be removed from the host machine.
Note: The transport locking device must be removed when the work tool has been installed on the host machine and positioned in a vertical position.
