  1. Position the work tool in an upright position on a smooth surface and on a level surface.

  1. Stop the machine engine in order to prevent inadvertent movement of the work tool.

    Note: The host machine must be equipped with a boom lowering control valve in order to perform this procedure. If the host machine is not equipped with a boom lowering control valve, contact your Verachtert dealer.

    (1) Rotator head bolt (outer ring)

  1. Check the rotator head bolts (1) on the outer ring. If any bolts are missing the heads, replace all the bolts on the outer ring.

    ReferenceContact your Verachtert dealer for replacement of the rotator head bolts.

  1. Remove the bolts (3) for the cover plate (2). Remove the cover plate (2) in order to gain access to bolts on the inner ring.

    (4) Rotator head bolt (inner ring)

  1. Check the rotator head bolts (4) on the inner ring. If any bolts are missing the heads, replace all the bolts on the inner ring.

    Note: The work tool can be rotated manually in order to access the 36 bolts on the inner ring. Use a sufficiently long lever in order to rotate the work tool.

    ReferenceContact your Verachtert dealer for replacement of the rotator head bolts.

  1. Install the cover plate (2) and the bolts (3) .
