PROBLEM
The mounting bracket for the boom accumulator may develop cracks in high load applications on certain M325C MH and M325D MH Excavators. If the mounting bracket cracks and fails, the accumulators can fall, possibly causing damage to the cab. |

Relocate accumulators on boom cylinders (using 287-1830 plate, 105-3482 bolts (torque:28+-7 Nm) (A & B on Fig 1.3.1) and 288-0857 clamp (torque: 16+-1 Nm); refer to (C) on figure 1.3.1 for approximate positioning) and connect on BLCV side port (external side, do not change current 1mm orifice, connect to free port just opposite side to balancing line port, refer to fig1.3.2) using 287-2969 hoses (D) and 148-8367 Elbow as. (6V-9850 Elbow &6V-8397 Seal). Connection between hose and accumulators grop can be done with 148-8361 Elbow as. (6V-9200 Elbow, 6V-8397 Seal & 3J-7354 Seal). Adjust accumulators position to get correct hose routing. Attention to correctly position accumulators in vertical plane to avoid contact with boom or cab. Check the hydraulic system oil level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check". |
