The 6V-3532 Bolts and 171-9464 Spacers between the swing gear bearing inner
race and the lower frame need to be replaced on certain 315C Excavators. The
existing bolts may loosen possibly causing extensive damage to the swing gear
bearing.

New 112-3927 Bolts and 7Y-1863 Spacers between the swing gear bearing inner race and the lower frame need to be installed on the products listed below. The existing bolts may loosen possibly causing extensive damage to the swing gear bearing. You will not be charged for the service performed.

Note: Replace one bolt at a time. Do not remove all bolts at the same time.

1) Place the machine on flat level ground.
2) Remove one 6V3532 Bolt and one 171-9464 Spacer.
