When reporting the repair, use "PI31392" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI31392" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

PROBLEM

The engine fuel line tube can interfere with the muffler support on certain 330D L Excavators. If there is interference, the engine fuel line tube may crack, resulting in a leak. In order to prevent this, the engine fuel line tube needs to be inspected and rerouted if needed.

Check to see that all parts are installed properly, as shown in Image 1.1.1 (LH View of the Engine) and Image 1.1.2 (Section A-A From Image 1.1.1). Also, check to see that Distance (A) between Support Assembly (4) and Tube (5) is more than 13mm, as shown in Image 1.1.3 (Rear View of Engine) and Image 1.1.4 (LH View of Engine). If Distance (A) is 13mm or below, re-adjust the orientation of Elbow (6) until distance (A) is maintained at more than 13mm.
