Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.

Rework Procedure

Group Number 1

WARNING:
(1) Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.
(2) Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.
(3) Make sure that all of the attachments have been lowered to the ground and the oil is cooled before removing any components or lines.

1. Remove appropriate existing tube assemblies and hose assemblies from the 245-5317 Boom Lines Group, as listed below in Image 1.2.1 and Image 1.2.2.

2. Re-install the 245-5317 Boom Lines Group with the appropriate replacement tube assemblies and hose assemblies, listed below in Image 1.3.1 and Image 1.3.2.

Never re-use any existing Seal-Rectangular when performing this rework procedure.

Be sure to tighten each of the bolts to the specified torque, as shown below in Image 1.4.1.

1. Remove appropriate existing tube assemblies and hose assemblies from the 245-4930 Boom Lines Group, as listed below in Image 2.2.1 and Image 2.2.2.

2.Re-install 245-4930 Boom Lines Group with the appropriate replacement tube assemblies and hose assemblies, listed below in Image 2.3.1 and Image 2.3.2.

Be sure to tighten each of the bolts to the specified torque, as shown below in Image 2.4.1.
