| The shaft seal within the water pump on certain C6.6 engines can fail resulting in a coolant leak through the weep hole. The 322-9662 water pump features improved shaft seal that will improve pump reliability. |

| Remove the water pump and replace with 322-9662 water pump assembly. Refer to the appropriate Service Manual as necessary. Replace the water pump in accordance with the Disassembly and Assembly instructions specified in SMCS 1361. |
