PRODUCT SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR REPLACING THE CONTROL GROUP (JOYSTICK BASE) ON CERTAIN 365CL, 365CL FS, 365CL MH, 365CL OEM, 385C, 385C L, 385C FS, 385CL MH AND 385C OEM EXCAVATORS AND MATERIAL HANDLERS

This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS51475" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Although this Program is to be administered as described above on the Affected Product, parts should be removed from parts stock as soon as possible.

The information supplied in this service letter may not be valid after the termination date of this program. Do not perform the work outlined in this Service Letter after the termination date without first contacting your AVSpare product analyst.

Inspect the serial number on all 270-5620 Control Groups that are in dealer parts stock. Refer to Image 1 for the serial number location. If the serial number is below 003615, remove the control group from stock and handle according to the parts disposition. If the serial number is over 003615, it has been built after improvements and should be returned to dealer parts stock.

If not previously removed, remove all 227-7569 Control Groups from dealer parts stock.

Submit one claim for all parts removed from dealer parts stock.
