This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI10708" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code.
Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI10708" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The flange on certain hydraulic hose couplings may have been incorrectly brazed on certain 324D, 325D, 330D, and 345D Excavators. This incorrect operation may lead to failure of the coupling at the flange. The failure of this coupling could result in unexpected high pressure oil leakage and machine movement with the potential for serious injury or death.

ACTION REQUIRED

Cease operation of the affected machines. Attach a SEHS7332 "Do Not Operate" warning tag to the joystick. This tag is to instruct and remind machine operators and maintenance personnel not to operate the machine.

The SEHS7332 "Do Not Operate" Warning Tag can be ordered through AVSpare Media Logistics by calling 1-800-566-7782.

This is an interim corrective action until a permanent corrective action is implemented. AVSpare is currently working on a solution to this issue. Until the permanent repair procedure is developed, do not operate the machine.

Cease operation of the machine immediately on the products listed below. Certain hose couplings may have been incorrectly brazed. This can cause the hydraulic coupling to fail at the brazed joint. The failure of this coupling could result in unexpected high pressure oil leakage and machine movement with the potential for serious injury or death.
