NOTE: This program can be administered either before or
after a failure. In either case the decision whether
to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When
reporting the repair, use "PS8013" as the Part Number,
and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before
failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description
Code, and if administered after failure, use "96" as
the Warranty Claim Description Code.

Certain 320 and 325 Excavators may experience internal final
drive wear. This will first show up in high iron content either
through PPM or Particle Counting levels. When S.O.S. analysis
shows excessive iron content, the 320 second stage carrier
planet or the 325 third stage on carrier planet and thrust
washers may need to be replaced.

Disassemble the final drive and check the carrier planet
spotface. If the spotface does not show wear, replace the
thrust washers. If the carrier planet spotface is worn, then
replace the carrier planet and the thrust washers. See the
Service Manual "Disassembly and Assembly".
