PRODUCT SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR REINFORCING STICKS ON CERTAIN 206B
AND 211B/212B EXCAVATORS

NOTE: This Program can be administered either before or
after failure. In either case the decision whether
to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When
reporting the repair, use "PS8090" as the Part
Number, and "7755" as the Group Number. If
administered before failure, use "56", and after
failure "96" as the Warranty Claim Description
Code.
NOTE: We recommend to apply the Program before failure.

Certain of the 8U4893 Sticks (2600 mm long) as fitted on 206B
Excavators, and certain of the 8U4932 (2300 mm long) and 8U4936
(2800 mm long) Sticks as fitted on 211B and 212B Excavators may
fail at the anchor point of the cylinder.

Remove the stick and weld reinforcement plates to the stick as
indicated on the attached illustration.
NOTE: Use a jig to avoid thermal deformation during
welding to maintain true alignment of pin holes.
