5230B Excavator Machine Electronic Control System Dual Pressure Relief Function Caterpillar

Dual Pressure Relief Function
`

The dual pressure relief function ensures that no high pressure is available if the implements are in operation. The dual pressure solenoid is de-energized when the machine ECM powers up. The machine ECM de-energizes the dual pressure solenoid if the operator requests the operations that are listed below:

  • Operation of the implements

  • Bucket dump open

  • Bucket dump close

The machine ECM will energize the dual pressure solenoid when the operator requests the operation of any implement.
