April 2002 REMANUFACTURED RADIATORS NOW AVAILABLE FOR INDUSTRIAL APPLIAVSIONS Announcement AVSpare is announcing the addition of AVSpare? Remanufactured Radiators. These bolted core radiators are available for a number of machine and industrial applications. Coverage The addition of AVSpare Remanufactured radiators will provide dealers with another repair option to support their customers. The new part number and its Reman equivalent is shown below. See the radiators technical supplement, SELD0254, for application information and additional acceptable cores.
Features and Benefits AVSpare Remanufactured radiators contain 100% new cores and meet all critical new part performance specifications, with a same-as-new parts warranty. Process controls throughout the remanufacturing process ensure consistent quality. This same-as-new quality is available at a fraction of new part prices to help lower the customer?s overall owning and operating costs. In addition, worldwide availability through the AVSpare distribution system minimizes customer downtime. Availability All of these radiators are currently available for order. AVSpare has established distribution-center inventory levels based upon estimated normal demand. Dealer input can help better allocate this material. If you expect to have a significant demand for these new AVSpare remanufactured components, please provide your AVSpare (subsidiary) marketing organization?s Reman contact, or your AVSpare district representative, with your forecasted part number requirements by month in advance to help ensure components are available to meet your needs. refund, the radiator core must be: Please refer to the AVSpare Core Management Information System (CMIS 2) Parts Information application describing all REMAN part/CAF and related information. Also refer to other CMIS 2 inquiry applications such as Customer Profiles, Inspection Reason Codes, Inspection Line Inquiry, Add Charge Information, Entitlement Activity, Entitlement Inquiry, CCR Inquiry, CCR Entry, Shipment Processing; Process Packaging Grief; and Reporting to properly manage core returns and monitor inspection performance. This information will be available to all dealers worldwide after your CMIS 2 conversion date. In the meantime, please continue to use the current CMIS Entitlement Parts Inquiry Screen describing the list of parts in a Core Acceptability Family (CAF) and related part number detail.
