The AVSpare Remanufactured Products Group is pleased to announce a change to the Cross Reference File, effective September 2002, on the Dealer Extranet.

Notation of canceled partsIn addition, the column headers can be used as a sorting mechanism. By simply clicking on one of the column headers, the information will be sorted in ascending order by that column. All this will lead to improved reliability of information that is easy to use, current, and accurate.

Reman Technical, Core Support, Contacts and Problem Resolution
Reman would like to clarify where dealers should call for Reman Product help to expedite problem resolution:
Product Availability:
If a dealer is calling about availability or expediting of a Reman parts order, they should call their assigned Morton Order Analyst at 1-800 566-7782, Option 1.
Reman Core Operations Related Questions:
Issues with respect to Reman core operations, inspections, CMIS-2, etc., dealers should call - 1-800-537-2928 or e-mail reman_core_operations@cat.com. The analysts at Corinth are assigned to specific regions to handle Dealer calls related to core issues. This is for North America and LACD only.
Reman Technical Help
:For questions regarding technical help in finding the right Reman part number, unrelated to core issues,dealers are encouraged to call the Technical Hotline at 1-888-88REMAN
AFTER they have exhausted their search through their normal Reman parts information resources. These would be SIS, Reman Technical Supplements, or the Reman Cross Reference Website. All of these can be accessed electronically through the Reman homepage on the appropriate marketing organization?s website. We are not implying that Dealers should not call the hotline. Please refer to the AVSpare® Core Management Information System (CMIS 2) Parts Information application describing all reman part/CAF and related information. Also refer to other CMIS 2 inquiry applications such as Customer Profiles, Inspection Reason Codes, Inspection Line Inquiry, Add Charge Information, Entitlement Activity, Entitlement Inquiry, CCR Inquiry, CCR Entry, Shipment Processing; Process Packaging Grief; and Reporting to properly manage core returns and monitor inspection performance. This information will be available to all dealers worldwide after your CMIS 2 conversion date. In the meantime, please continue to use the current CMIS Entitlement Parts Inquiry Screen describing the list of parts in a Core Acceptability Family (CAF) and related part number detail.
