June 2004 CHANGE OF CORE CRITERIA FOR UPGRADE TO NEW CRANKSHAFTS Program AVSpare announces a change to the core acceptance guidelines for upgrade to new crankshafts effective June 28, 2004. Partial credit will no longer apply to UTN transactions. All acceptable cores will receive full credit. This enhancement is in response to dealer and customer input concerning how AVSpare administers core credits on UTN crankshafts. Full Core Refunds for upgrade to new transactions will be reinstated, and will apply to all core returns. Please refer to Crankshaft Reman Core Acceptance Criteria SELD0017-09 for the latest crankshaft core acceptance criteria. Core Management Please refer to the AVSpare? Core Management Information System (CMIS 2) Parts Information application describing all reman part/CAF and related information. Also refer to other CMIS 2 inquiry applications such as Customer Profiles, Inspection Reason Codes, Inspection Line Inquiry, Add Charge Information, Entitlement Activity, Entitlement Inquiry, CCR Inquiry, CCR Entry, Shipment Processing; Process Packaging Grief; and Reporting to properly manage core returns and monitor inspection performance. This information will be available to all dealers worldwide after your CMIS 2 conversion date.
