SEALED AND LUBRIAVSED TRACK LINK ASSEMBLY NOW CONTAIN SYNTHETIC OIL

With the introduction of Cat SYNTHETIC GO SAE 75W-140 lubricant, new machines from the factory and new link assemblies from parts department contain the new oil.  This new gear oil is a fully synthetic gear lubricant intended for applications requiring heavy-duty extreme pressure (EP) performance.

 The following tables provide Effective Dates, Link Assembly Serial Numbers and Machine Serial Numbers.  Currently Japan has not implemented the new oil in the link assemblies; estimated date is 2^nd quarter 2005.
