UNDERCARRIAGE SELECTOR (UCS) 1.0 INTRODUCTION
Undercarriage Selector (UCS) is a Windows-based software application that helps dealer Parts & Service Sales Representatives (PSSRs) create quick undercarriage cost comparisons, showing the cost per hour advantage of SystemOne? (see image below). UCS allows PSSRs to make accurate comparisons between SystemOne, Heavy Duty, Sealed and Lubricated, and Competitive undercarriage options. UCS currently covers machine models D3-D6, including 953 and 963 Track Loaders.
What?s New
UCS 1.0 is easy to use and provides the following features:
- Compares up to 4 Undercarriage types, for both Cat and Competitive
- Automatically calculates the undercarriage price based on the model and undercarriage options selected
- Automatically calculates undercarriage life. The default calculations can be set to match local performance
- Creates graphs to demonstrate the cost per hour and life advantage. Graphs are also displayed on a report. (see image below)
- Incorporates maintenance and downtime costs for undercarriage types that require a pin and bushing turn.
UCS from CTS
UCS can also be launched directly from the latest version of CTS (Custom Track Service version 5.5.1). Benefits of using UCS from CTS include selecting existing machines from CTS, using dealer parts prices from the CTS database, updating Track History directly from UCS, and printing quotations with the related parts.

Installed with UCS 1.0 is the reference document listed below. It can be displayed and/or printed by selecting Start > Programs > Undercarriage Selector v1.0. The UCS Training Manual for New Users will be very useful as you start to use the program.
