345C, 365C, 385C EXCAVATOR GREASE LUBRIAVSED TRACK (GLT)
Grease lubricated track (GLT) is now available as standard from the factory with the introduction of the 345C, 365C, and 385C series machines. Grease lubricated tracks increase the durability of the link assembly by decreasing the wear of the track pin and internal wear of the bushing.
The GLT link assemblies also have a 1.5 mm larger bushing diameter for additional external bushing wear life. These improvements will provide an additional 2000 hours or more of undercarriage life for most Hydraulic Excavator applications. The current sprocket segment can be used with the larger bushing diameter. Expect grease retention to be longer than for other GLT track due to the use of rigid track seals from sealed and lubricated track. The part numbers for the grease-lubricated track are listed in Attachment I.

Adaptabilit
The new grease lubricated track (GLT) link assemblies are interchangeable with the sealed link assemblies, allowing GLT to be used on former models 345B, 365BL, 385B, and 5090B.
Servicing
When performing service on grease lubricated track link assemblies (such as turning pins and bushings or replacing components) refer to Undercarriage Reconditioning Bulletin SEBF8598.
Custom Track Service (CTS)
When performing CTS on the 345C, 365C, or 385C, refer to the 15th edition of the CTS Handbook (media number PEKP9400-03). See wear chart on Attachment II for measuring external bushing wear.
Summary
Grease lubricated track on the 345C/B, 365CL/BL, and 385C/B will increase component life, lower cost per hour and minimize internal wear while reducing undercarriage noise.
