CTS (Custom Track Service) v5.5 Updates
An updated CD-ROM for CTS version 5.5 was recently shipped to subscribers of media number JMRC7100. This CD is for new installations and for updating previous versions of CTS 5.5. One CD was shipped to each subscribing dealer.
To purchase a new CTS subscription, order literature number JMRC7100. Use literature number JERC7102 to order additional copies of the CD.

- An update of the Undercarriage Selector (UCS) software, version 2.0, to better demonstrate the advantages SystemOneTM undercarriage

Installation Test
After updating, when the
question mark icon
in CTS
is pressed, the ?CTS Version? should be 5.5.2 and the ?Date Last Updated?
should be 1/1/2006.

Key features of this update to CTS 5.5:
- NEXUS Undercarriage
o Wear charts
q The Ultrasonic Wear Indicator (UWI) cannot be used to measure track rollers or carrier rollers, but can be used on links, bushings and shoes.
o Part numbers
o Models
o Model templates. These can be found at the bottom of the Equipment screen.
- Reports
o The Fleet Summary report is in a vertical format to make it easier to read.
o The Quotation report lists parts in the same order as on the Track History ? Parts tab.
o SystemOneTM Track Assurance reports are available in Spanish and Portuguese for LACD users.
- Ultrasonic Wear Indicator (UWI)
o The ?Export to UWI? feature now exports the Equipment Number along with the serial number. The Serial Number field in the UWI will now read ?Serial Number.Equipment Number?, for example ?4MN00649.E119?.
- Track History
o A new button in Track History opens the December 15, 2005, version of the undercarriage PSK (Parts Sales Kit) for reference in identifying part numbers.
- Inspection
o A new button in Inspection opens the CTS Handbook for easy reference
Attachment 1
- Automatic Database Back-up
o In Preferences ? Import Export, an option now automatically backs up the CTS database every 30 days. This should be changed to point to a shared drive at your dealership. It requires the use of a drive letter (i.e. R).
