REMANUFACTURED EXHAUST VALVES

Announcement

AVSpare Remanufactured Products has recently developed a process to remanufacture exhaust valves for diesel application. This change has been implemented in several engine model Reman cylinder heads; including UTN (Upgrade-to-New) heads.

AVSpare new exhaust valves are heat-treated and have 150% more facing material than industry standard. Because AVSpare? valves are built to exacting standards, it allows AVSpare to provide a remanufactured valve that provides the same-as-new performance and long life.

All remanufactured exhaust valves are:
               ? Cleaned with a special process to restore valve back to new condition
               ? Valve stems are restored to original print specifications
               ? 100% inspected for cracks
               ? Valve tip hardness checked
               ? Identified with unique part number

Any exhaust valve core that does not meet specifications is scrapped.

This change does not affect the reliability or durability of the Reman cylinder heads. All Reman heads still provide same-as-new performance and are backed with same-as-new warranty.

Also refer to other CMIS 2 inquiry applications such as Customer Profiles, Inspection Reason Codes, Inspection Line Inquiry, Add Charge Information, Entitlement Activity, Entitlement Inquiry, CCR Inquiry, CCR Entry, Shipment Processing; Process Packaging Grief; and Reporting to properly manage core returns and monitor inspection performance. This information will be available to all dealers worldwide after your CMIS 2 conversion date.
