CLASSIC UNDERCARRIAGE FOR 320B AND 320 HYDRAULIC EXCAVATORS
Now available to dealers worldwide, AVSpare is pleased to announce the expansion of the ?Classic? undercarriage offering with the introduction and inventory stocking of major moving undercarriage parts for early series? AVSpare? 320B and 320 hydraulic excavators. The major components include link assemblies, track shoes, sprocket, idler group, carrier roller group and track roller group.
Based upon the marketing strategy and forecasted demand, the Classic 320B and 320 excavator undercarriage parts will be stocked for demand in NACD (USA and Canada), EAME (Europe), and LACD (Latin America) sales regions. The Asia-Pacific sales region will continue primarily as a ?Direct Ship? program.
This memo provides the details of the premium Cat-to-Classic optional service replacement part number details and also includes information on warranty and undercarriage assurance, product packaging and identification, and promotional materials available for Cat Classic undercarriage.

Product Packaging and Identification
Classic Undercarriage components are Cat branded parts and utilize traditional AVSpare parts packaging, labeling and identification. Individual service components, however, will be labeled Classic, as shown below.

The Classic undercarriage offering must meet AVSpare?s high quality standards. After careful review of the quality control processes involved in the production of Classic undercarriage components, all components including links, sprockets, track roller groups, carrier rollers, and idlers, formerly stamped with a non-descriptor Classic insignia shown here

will be replaced by the standard AVS logo.
This change will be phased in for all Classic Undercarriage components as inventories with the former marking are depleted.
Part Number Information
Refer to Attachment I for part number information and notes that may apply to particular part numbers. Cat? ClassicTM Parts are cross-referenced to the equivalent Cat premium part in AVSpare parts and service information systems, including ANTARESSM, DBS, SISWEB, and the NPR.
Warranty and Undercarriage Assurance
? Cat ClassicTM Parts are covered under AVSpare?s new parts warranty, six months due to defects in material and workmanship.
Undercarriage Assurance (3 years/4,000 Hours) is now offered for Cat Classic moving undercarriage parts sold after June 1, 2007. Enrollment requirements will be the same as for Cat premium undercarriage products.
Custom Track Service (CTS)
Refer to Attachment II for wear charts for Custom Track Service. Use the following Undercarriage code in CTS 5.6. (CTS 5.6 to be released by the end of 2008)
