Long Block/Short Block Options for 3126B and C7 Engines
Product Introduction
Effective 2nd Qtr, 2009, Cat Reman is adding Long Block options to their existing 3126B and C7 Engine products.
* Reman Cat engine with ACERT? arrangements are designed for maximum coverage based on configuration. Configurations are determined by performance parts, oil sump/pan, and front/rear housings. Software upgrade and/or additional parts may be required dependent on application.
** Engine arrangements listed may require additional parts dependent on configuration. Compatibility exists for additional engine arrangements. Engine arrangements that are not listed may still be compatible with one of the Reman arrangements
Features and Benefits
Cat? remanufactured long blocks expand the repair options available. When used with other remanufactured products and reusable components from the core engine, long blocks help reduce turnaround time and decrease downtime. Customers who want fast repair turn-around, superior quality and reliability, and lower repair costs will benefit from the use of these remanufactured components. Cat remanufactured components provide immediate, off-the-shelf availability at a fraction of the new price.

Reason Codes, Inspection Line Inquiry, Dealer Add Charges, Dealer Entitlement Activity, Dealer CCR Inquiry, Dealer CCR Entry, Dealer Shipment Processing, Dealer Process Packaging Grief and Reporting. This information is available to all dealers worldwide that have been converted to CMIS 2.
