ROTATING BUSHING TRACK (RBT) UNDERCARRIAGE CANCELLATION
This IRM announces the cancellation of the Rotating Bushing Track (RBT)
Undercarriage. Due to low sales
volumes of RBT undercarriage, AVSpare has decided to streamline current
undercarriage offerings. RBT will have replacement piece parts available (links,
bushings, pins, and seals) until inventories are depleted. RBT will be cancelled
replaced by Heavy Duty undercarriage and customers will have the option of
retrofitting machines to SystemOne undercarriage.

Features and Benefits
Heavy Duty Undercarriage
utilizes links, pins, and fixed bushings that significantly offset the effects
of high impact loads and stresses. Combined structural and wear life
enhancements result in lower owning and operating costs through:
? Enhanced track joint retention and sealability.
? Stronger components that resist cracking and breakage.
?
Extended system wear life.
SystemOne undercarriage
utilizes straight links, rotating bushing, a superior sealing system and Center
Tread Idlers that offers reduced maintenance and increased life. SystemOne
reduces maintenance setbacks ? eliminating bushing turns, idlers that outlast
two tracks and a new, innovative factory sealed cartridge design.
Unique rotating bushing allows center tread idlers and sprocket segments to be
used over the
life of two undercarriage systems.
SystemOne?s center tread idlers eliminate costly link rail scalloping and
provide the link assembly with more guiding, resulting in significantly less
vibration. SystemOne outperforms Sealed and Lubricated Track (SALT) and Heavy
Duty Track in nearly all applications and underfoot conditions available, making
it the optimal choice.
Conversion Process
Heavy Duty link assemblies can
directly replace RBT link assemblies. The only difference is the bushings rotate
with RBT; the bushings are fixed with Heavy Duty. Therefore, all Heavy Duty U/C
components are directly inter-changeable with RBT U/C components. This includes
shoes, mounting hardware, rollers, sprocket segments, conventional idlers,
carrier rollers, track guides, and wear strips. Center tread idlers can not be
used with Heavy Duty U/C.
SystemOne undercarriage is
more complex to convert, as it requires; new link assemblies, shoes, mounting
hardware, rollers, and guiding/guarding components. SystemOne Undercarriage can
be retrofitted with the current RBT and heavy duty conventional idlers.
However, when using conventional idlers, customers will not see the total
SystemOne benefits of increased wear life, improved track guiding with SystemOne
Center Tread Idlers. The use of
Conventional idlers may lead to ?scalloping? on links.
