AVS REMAN ANNOUNCES AN IMPORTANT UPDATE TO THE PROCESS FOR CORRECTLY IDENTIFYING ELECTRONIC CONTROL PART NUMBERS.
Announcement
Cat Reman announces an important update to the technical supplement for electronic controls (
SELD0082). The improved technical supplement provides greater clarification in identifying the correct Reman part number for a given new equivalent part number. Most importantly, there are certain instances in which multiple Reman part numbers are available for one new equivalent part number; the correct part number depends upon the serial number of the engine being serviced. Please see Figure 1 for an example. In the future, please refer to the updated technical supplement for all of your Reman electronic control identification needs. Please visit the technical supplements section of the Reman dealer website to access the updated technical supplement:
catreman.cat.com/technicalsupplements. The Electronic Control Units Technical Supplement (SELD0082) can be found in the "Electrical and Starting Systems" area of the product structure tree for technical supplements.
