NEW D6M/N SYSTEMONE RELIEVED TREAD IDLER (RTI)

 

An improved Relieved Tread Idler is now available through the parts system. It is also being used on all current production tractors.

 Relieved Tread Idlers are available for D6M/N Elevated Sprocket Tractors.

Benefits

Relieved Tread Idler:
?
RTI eliminates idler and link contact near the bushing seal; with the former CTI, this contact sometimes resulted in dry joints when wear between link and idler exposed track seals.
? Contact surfaces of the RTI and link are both hardened steel, which decreases thrust wear rate.
?
Relieved OD of the RTI reduces material packing pressure near bushing seals.

The new Relieved Tread Idlers are installed on current D6N machines from the factory (SN: GHS & MLW)

Note:  Relieved Tread Idlers are not recommended for use with Double Flange Rollers.
