IMPROVED D6H/R/T HEAVY DUTY TRACK LINK

The track link for D6T/R/H size Heavy Duty Undercarriage has been improved to reduce stresses that lead to cracking and spalling.

 The new link is a direct replacement for the old, and utilizes the existing Heavy Duty track pin, bushing, seal, thrust ring, shoe, bolt, and nut. The new link also uses the same track press tooling as the old. For field repairs of existing track, it is acceptable to mix old and new link part numbers in a track.

 Custom Track Service (CTS)

 The new link has the same link rail height and wear characteristics as the old link, and therefore uses the same Custom Track Service (CTS) wear charts.

Refer to Attachment II for the CTS wear charts. 

Benefits 

The new Heavy Duty link has more steel in the link windows and link strut to reduce stresses that lead to cracking. The new design also has a larger radius at each end of the rail to help reduce roller impact that may lead to rail spalling. Overall the new link weighs 0.8 pounds (0.36 kg) more than the old link.
