NEW LINK ASSEMBLIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR
FORESTRY MACHINES AND TRACK FELLER BUNCHERS

New track link assemblies are now available for Forestry and Feller Buncher machines. The links have a new heat treat process to help improve life and functionality. The improvements are applied to parts production only. Refer to Table 1 for the replacement of the former Track Link Assembly with the improved Track Link Assembly.

Benefits

New track link assemblies are now available for the machines listed above. A new heat treat process is used on the track links to hold the surface hardness to a closer specification. This improved control of the heat treat process provides greater resistance to link cracking and rail spalling. A new link geometry is also used to help resist in link cracking and spalling. The improvements are applied to parts production only. Refer to Table 1 for the replacement of the former Track Link Assembly with the improved Track Link Assembly. The new Track Link Assembly has the same rail height as the former Track Link Assembly. The same CTS information can be used.
