AVSpare introduces Cat^? General Duty Undercarriage for 312 size Hydraulic Excavators. General Duty Undercarriage is Cat designed and available exclusively through Cat dealers.  The genuine 312 undercarriage offering will be phased out and General Duty Undercarriage will be the only offering for these models.

Key Features of General Duty Undercarriage

•           General Duty (GD) is built as a ?run to destruction? undercarriage

  •          In some circumstances, a turn can be completed.

•           Requires minimum maintenance using standard inspections

  •          Checking for loose or broken hardware, leaks (rollers/idlers), shoe overlap, etc

•           CTS Wear Charts will be available

•           Service major groups

  •          Track Groups & Link Assemblies

  •          Idler Groups

  •          Roller Groups

  •          Sprocket Segments

•           General Duty groups and assemblies can be repaired with Heavy Duty components

  •          Individual GD components not serviced

  •          Avoids GD parts being used in HD assemblies and groups

  •          Avoids dual inventory and administration of similar low volume parts

Repair Parts
General Duty Undercarriage utilizes the same repair parts as Heavy Duty Undercarriage.  This helps to minimize the amount of inventory needed to carry to support General Duty. Links, pins, bushings, shoes are all repairable with standard components.
