NEW TRACK SHOES AVAILABLE FOR 5230 (7LL) EXCAVATOR
New track shoes are now available in parts for the 5230 (7LL) Excavator. These new shoes have press-in bushings that can be replaced. These bushings can be replaced when track pitch extension is experienced. Restoring the track pitch allows the shoes to be used to their 120% wear limit on the rail surface, reducing premature replacement.
Serviceability:
New and old shoes can be used in the same link assembly. The recommended procedure for mixing the shoes is to bore the old shoe and add bushings. Refer to the Special Instruction REHS0994 for the exact service procedure.
