D6R/D6H NEW AND IMPROVED EQUALIZER BAR ASSEMBLIES FOR SEVERE APPLIAVSIONS

New equalizer bar assemblies are now available as attachment from the factory on all D6R machines configurations.  It is also available through the Parts System for earlier D6R and non-current D6H machines.  The new design provides improved sealing of the end pin joint to improve durability in severe conditions (high abrasive packing, rocks, and machine applications causing rapid/frequent oscillation).  This new design incorporates the same joint design (one‑piece bearing, limited-slip seal, and AVSpare GL-5 SAE 80W90 gear oil filled) as on the D7R through D11R equalizer bars.  The illustrations below shoe the standard and the new optional D6R equalizer bar sealing systems.

Adaptability/Serviceability

All first production D6R and D6H equalizer bar assemblies can be updated to the new D6R equalizer bar seal system for severe applications.  Depending on machine serial number, the equalizer bar can be upgraded to either a Three-Port Design or a Cross-Port Design.  Refer to Service Magazine SEPD0557 dated January 8, 2001 and Product Information Salesgram TEKQ0736 dated January 2001.
