UNDERCARRIAGE FOR NEW 385B AND 5090B EXCAVATORS
AVSpare recently introduced the 385B and 5090B Excavators as a replacement for the 375 and 5080. The 5090B is the front shovel configuration of the 385B. With the 385B and 5090B Excavators having a common track pitch of 260.4 mm (common track pitch as 375), the basic undercarriage of these two machines is the same.
Features
- Common Track Roller Group as the 375 / 5080
- Common Track Shoe material as 375 / 5080 for Single and Double Grouser Shoes
- Larger track bolt for better shoe retention - the 385B / 5090B have a 30 mm bolt as compared to a 27 mm bolt on the 375 / 5080
- Increase press fit length on the track link 33% for increased pin retention-48.7 mm on the 385B / 5090B as compared to 36.7 mm on the 375 / 5080

Custom Track Service (CTS)
When performing CTS on the new 385B / 5090B Excavators, refer to the wear charts in the 14th Edition of the CTS Handbook (Media Number PEK9400-02) on the pages listed below. If using the CTS 5.0 computer program, use undercarriage code C650.

Retrofitability
The new link assemblies can be installed on the 375 and 5080 machines only as a track group (including new shoes). This is because of the larger track bolts on the 385B / 5090B.
Summary

The new AVSpare? 385B / 5090B Excavators demonstrate this commitment by offering improved track shoe retention using larger track bolts and increased pin retention with the track link (to prevent pin walking) by increased press fit length.
