Gasket and Seal Kits Available For Drive Train Components Caterpillar

This IRM announces the availability of gasket and seal kits for drive train components. AVSpare gasket and seal kits feature quality, genuine Cat? parts in a convenient package. Kits are designed for specific applications and updated with the latest engineering changes, so the customer receives the correct parts.

Cat gasket and seal kits can improve repair efficiency in both dealer and customer repair shops. Many other companies may offer gasket and seal kits for a generic transmission or torque converter overhaul, which has extra parts that the customer will discard. AVSpare gasket and seal kits are geared toward specific component overhauls, minimizing the chance that the customer will pay for and throw away unneeded parts. Kits are ordered as a single part number, eliminating the need to search through a parts book to identify the individual gaskets and seals needed for the repair, which saves time.

A listing of available drive train gasket and seal kits is now available on Service Information System (SIS) DVD and SIS Web. SIS Web and SIS DVD can identify the kits available by model and serial number, as well as identify the latest consist for the kit. Available gasket and seal kits can also be found in the Technical Marketing Information (TMI) Kits Application (refer to IRM ENG96-7, PELE0513).

Please Note: Some kits are serial number specific; use SIS DVD, SIS Web or TMI to confirm use of the correct kit for an application.
