The power shift pressure check insures the commanded power shift pressure matches the actual power shift pressure during a two pump stall condition.

- Position the machine on level ground and stop the engine.
- Release the pressure in the hydraulic system. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "System Pressure - Release".

(3) Pressure tap (power shift pressure) - Connect a
6000 kPa (870 psi) pressure gauge to pressure tap (3) to monitor power shift pressure.
- Start the engine.
- Increase the hydraulic oil temperature to
55° ± 5°C (131° ± 9°F) . - Place the machine controls at the following settings: engine speed dial "10" and AEC switch OFF. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Engine Performance - Test (Engine Speed)" for engine rpm settings.
- Check the commanded power shift pressure on the monitor. Check the actual power shift pressure at pressure tap (3). Refer to Table 1 for the specification.
- Move the joystick for the boom until the boom is at the full BOOM RAISE position (full extension of boom cylinders). Hold the joystick for the boom in this position.
- Check the commanded power shift pressure on the monitor. Check the actual power shift pressure at pressure tap (3). Refer to Table 1 for the specification.
- Return the joystick to the NEUTRAL position.
- If the power shift pressure is not within specification, proceed to Testing and Adjusting, "Main Pump (Flow) - Test (Hydraulic Power)".
