Hydraulic Oil Type

Service code 80 allows you to select the type of oil that is being used. This automatically determines the alert values that are used for the oil level and temperature.

  1. Enter service code 80.

Display (1) identifies the type of oil that has been selected. Mineral oil or biological oil may be selected.

  1. Depress fine control mode switch (4) in order to shift the blinking character. Position the blinking character to the third position from the right.

  1. Depress boom priority mode switch (2) in order to select the mineral oil. "80Std".

  1. Depress swing priority mode switch (3) in order to select the biological oil. "80b1o".

  1. Set the type of oil.

    1. Depress travel alarm cancel switch (6) in order to set the new value.

When the new value is set, the position of the blinking character does not change. The service code will flash.

Automatic Engine Control (AEC) (Engine Speed)

When minimum hydraulic load exists and the AEC is active, engine speed is reduced. Service code 81 sets the engine speed that is used by the AEC.

  1. Enter service code 81.

  1. Depress fine control mode switch (4) in order to shift the blinking character. Position the blinking character to the fourth position from the right.

  1. Depress boom priority mode switch (2) in order to INCREASE the speed setting by 10 RPM.

The speed setting can be set at any speed that is between 800 RPM and high idle.

  1. Depress swing priority mode switch (3) in order to DECREASE the speed setting by 10 RPM.

The speed setting can be set at any speed that is between 800 RPM and high idle.

  1. Set the new value for the AEC.

    1. Depress travel alarm cancel switch (6) in order to set the new values.

When the new value is set, the position of the blinking character does not change. The service code flashes.

Automatic Engine Control (AEC) (Time Delay for Activation)

When minimum hydraulic load exists and the AEC is active, engine speed is reduced. Service code 82 sets the time delay that is used by the AEC.

  1. Enter service code 82.

Display (1) indicates the current time delay in 0.1 second.

  1. Depress fine control mode switch (4) in order to shift the blinking character. Position the blinking character to the second position from the right.

  1. Depress boom priority mode switch (2) in order to INCREASE the setting of the time delay by 0.5 second.

The time delay can be set from 0 to 20 seconds.

  1. Depress swing priority mode switch (3) in order to DECREASE the setting of the time delay by 0.5 second.

The time delay can be set from 0 to 20 seconds.

  1. Set the new value for the AEC.

    1. Depress travel alarm cancel switch (6) in order to set the new values.

When the new value is set, the position of the blinking character does not change. The service code flashes.

Automatic Engine Control (AEC) (Memory Mode)

An activation delay of three seconds is the standard for the AEC. Service code 83 is used to input changes from the standard time delay. The changes are stored in the controller memory.

When the machine is secured, the machine automatically defaults to the work mode and the power mode. Also, the travel speed automatically defaults to the LOW speed position. This is accomplished regardless of the choice when the key start switch is turned to the OFF position.

  1. Enter service code 83.

The memory mode may be turned "ON" or turned "OFF". Display (1) indicates the state of the memory mode. The mode can be "on" or "oF".

  1. Depress fine control mode switch (4) in order to shift the blinking character. Position the blinking character to the position on the right.

  1. Depress boom priority mode switch (2) in order to turn the mode "ON". "83on".

The mode can be "on" or "oF".

  1. Depress swing priority mode switch (3) in order to turn the mode "OFF". "83oF".

The mode can be "on" or "oF".

  1. Set the new value for the AEC.

    1. Depress travel alarm cancel switch (6) in order to set the new values.

When the new value is set, the position of the blinking character does not change. The service code flashes.

Reduced Setting for Horsepower (Auxiliary Pump)

When an attachment pump is installed on the machine, the engine will maintain the target speed. This is done until a maximum of 30 percent of the available engine horsepower is used by the attachment pumps. Service code 84 is used to adjust the upper limit of the main pump horsepower.

  1. Enter service code 84.

Display (1) indicates the upper limit of the main pump. The value is displayed in percent.

  1. Depress fine control mode switch (4) in order to shift the blinking character. Position the blinking character to the right two positions.

  1. Depress boom priority mode switch (2) in order to INCREASE the upper limit by 5 percent.

The upper limit can be between 0 and 100 percent.

  1. Depress swing priority mode switch (3) in order to DECREASE the upper limit by 5 percent.

The upper limit can be between 0 and 100 percent.

  1. Set the new value for the AEC.

    1. Depress travel alarm cancel switch (6) in order to set the new values.

When the new value is set, the position of the blinking character does not change. The service code flashes.

Adjustment of the Low Idle Speed

Service code 85 allows you to adjust the engine speed that is used by the low idle switch.

  1. Enter service code 85.

Display (1) indicates the engine speed setting that is used by the low idle switch. The value is displayed in RPM.

  1. Depress fine control mode switch (4) in order to shift the blinking character. Position the blinking character to the right two positions.

  1. Depress boom priority mode switch (2) in order to INCREASE the speed setting by 10 RPM.

The speed setting can be between 800 RPM and high idle.

  1. Depress swing priority mode switch (3) in order to DECREASE the speed setting by 10 RPM.

The upper limit can be between 800 RPM and high idle.

  1. Set the new value for the AEC.

    1. Depress travel alarm cancel switch (6) in order to set the new values.

When the new value is set, the position of the blinking character does not change. The service code flashes.
