Installation Procedure

1. Use Tooling (C) to install bushing (12) and seal (11). Repeat this step for the other side.

   Note: Do not apply any lubricant to the inside diameter of seal (11) or bushing (12).

2. Attach a suitable lifting device to both sides of front drive and steering axle (6). The weight of front drive and steering axle (6) is approximately 408 kg (900 lb). Use the suitable lifting device to position front drive and steering axle (6) to the machine.

3. Install pin assembly (5) along with washers (8) and (9). Install thrust washers (7) and (10).

   Note: Do not apply any lubricant to pin assembly (5)

4. Install bolt (4) to secure pin assembly (5).

   Note: Use the required number of washers (9) on the front side of the drive and steering axle (6) to maintain a gap of 0.8 mm (0.03 inch) maximum.

5. Connect drive shaft (3).

6. Connect both hose assemblies (2).

7. Install the batteries.

8. Install the front tires and rims.

9. Install the front fenders.

10. Use Tooling (B) to remove Tooling (A) from the front of the machine.

11. Remove lift cylinder brace (1) and lower the lift arms.

1. Install the bucket.
