  1. Attach rear axle assembly (8) to Tooling (B) with suitable chains. The weight of rear axle assembly (8) is approximately 580 kg (1279 lb).

  2. Position bolts (10) with washers and nuts. Repeat this step for the opposite side

  3. Tighten bolts (10).

  4. Install cover (9). Repeat this step for the opposite side.

  5. Connect brake clevis (6) and (7).

  6. Connect hose assembly (4). Connect hose assemblies (5).

  7. Secure rear tire and rim (2) to a suitable power truck. The weight of rear tire and rim (2) is approximately 175 kg (385 lb). Use the suitable power truck to position rear tire and rim (2) onto the machine.

    Note: Ensure studs and lug nuts (1) are clean and dry.

  8. Apply one drop of Tooling (C) to the threads of lug nuts (1). Install lug nuts (1).

  9. Repeat Steps 7 through 8 for the opposite side of the machine.

  10. Install rear drive shaft (3).

  11. Raise the rear of the machine. Remove Tooling (A). Lower the machine to the ground.

  12. Tighten lug nuts (1) to a torque of 460 ± 60 N·m (340 ± 44 lb ft).

  13. Purge the air from the brakes. Refer to Testing and Adjusting Manual, "Brake System Air - Purge".
