Installation Procedure

1. Apply Tooling (B) to the mounting surface of brake cylinder assembly (3).

   Note: Align the location marks that were made during the removal procedure.

2. Attach a suitable lifting device onto axle housing, axle shaft, and wheel flange (2). The weight of axle housing, axle shaft, and wheel flange (2) is approximately 147 kg (325 lb). Position axle housing, axle shaft, and wheel flange (2) onto brake cylinder assembly (3).

3. Apply Tooling (A) on the threads of bolts (1). Install bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 130 N·m (96 lb ft).

4. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for the other side.

5. Fill the axle with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Axle Oil (Rear) - Change" and Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)".
