  1. Raise the bucket. Install cylinder lock (1).

  2. Remove nuts (3) and fender (2). Place suitable cribbing (4) between the front axle and the frame on each side of the machine. This action will keep the front axle from oscillating.

  3. Loosen lug nuts (5). Do not remove lug nuts (5) at this time.

  4. Use Tooling (B) to raise the machine. Position Tooling (A) under the frame of the machine. Use Tooling (B) to lower the machine onto Tooling (A).

  5. Attach a suitable lifting device to tire and rim (6). The combined weight of tire and rim (6) is approximately 115 kg (254 lb). Remove lug nuts (5). Remove tire and rim (6).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install tire and rim (6) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Apply one drop of Tooling (C) to the threads of lug nuts (5).

    2. Tighten lug nuts (5) to a torque of 460 ± 60 N·m (340 ± 44 lb ft) in a star pattern.
