1. Attach a suitable lifting device to head assembly (2). The weight of head assembly (2) is approximately 40 kg (88 lb).

2. Remove bolts (1) and head assembly (2).

3. Remove lip seal (4) and bearing (3). Repeat for the other side.

Installation Procedure

(X) 6.0 ± 1.0 mm (0.24 ± 0.04 inch)

1. Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press to install bearing (3) and lip seal (4). Install bearing (3) to Dimension (X). Install lip seal (4). Repeat for the other side.

2. Use a suitable lifting device to install head assembly (2). The weight of head assembly (2) is approximately 40 kg (88 lb). Install head assembly (2).

3. Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of bolts (1). Install bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 520 ± 70 N·m (384 ± 52 lb ft).
