Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |
- Drain the coolant to a level that is below the water temperature regulator. Refer to "Operation and Maintenance Manual", Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change for the correct draining procedure.

Illustration 1 g06030443 - Loosen clamp (1) and disconnect hose (3). Remove two bolts (4). Remove cover (2) and the gasket.
