Illustration 2 g00352916 - Apply Tooling (A) to link assembly (4). Prior to installing the link assembly, be sure that the grease fitting in the rod end of the bucket cylinder is facing away from the stick.
- Attach a suitable lifting device to link assemblies (4) and (8) and to right hand link (9). The weight of link assembly (4) is approximately
48 kg (106 lb) . Put link assemblies (8) and (4), and link (9) in position on the rod end of the bucket cylinder. Apply Tooling (A) on pin (6). Install pin (6) that holds link assemblies (8) and (4), and link (9) together. Align the retaining bolt hole in pin (6) with the retaining bolt hole in left hand link assembly (8). Temporarily install retaining bolt (5) and nuts (7).Show/hide tableIllustration 3 g00352954 - Temporarily install an O-ring seal on each flange of the link at the pin bore for the bucket.
- Apply Tooling (A) to bucket pin (2). Push link assembly (4) in position in the bucket and install bucket pin (2). Put the retaining bolt hole in bucket pin (2) in alignment with the retaining bolt hole in the bucket. Temporarily install retaining bolt (3) and nuts (1).

Illustration 5 g00356648 - Tighten the outside nut until the nut is
0.5 mm (0.02 inch) beyond the end of the retaining bolt. Tighten the inside nuts against the outside nuts. The torque for the inside nuts is160 ± 30 N·m (118 ± 22 lb ft) . - Lubricate the pins for the bucket control linkage. Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Bucket Linkage - Lubricate".
