NOTICE

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.

Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "AVSpare Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on AVSpare products.

Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.


  1. Open the hood of the machine.

  1. Drain the fuel tank to a level lower than the fuel priming pump. Drain the fuel into a suitable container for storage or for disposal. The capacity of the fuel tank is approximately 250 L (66.0 US gal).

  1. Disconnect two hose assemblies (2). Use Tooling (A) to plug the ends of the hose assemblies.

  1. Remove bolts (3) .

  1. Fuel will drain from fuel priming pump (1) during removal of the fuel priming pump. Collect the fuel in a suitable container.

  1. Remove fuel priming pump (1) .

Installation Procedure

Note: Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

  1. Install fuel priming pump (1) .

  1. Install bolts (3) .

  1. Connect two hose assemblies (2) .

  1. Fill the fuel tank to the proper level. The capacity of the fuel tank is approximately 250 L (66.0 US gal).

  1. Close the hood of the machine.
