Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Disconnect the electrical connector (4) to the fuel shutoff solenoid. Mark the connector or identify the connector for later installation.
- Remove bolts (3) that secure fuel shutoff solenoid (2) to the governor (1).
- Remove fuel shutoff solenoid (2).

- Position fuel shutoff solenoid (2) on governor (1).
- Install bolts (3) that secure fuel shutoff solenoid (2) to the governor. Tighten the bolts.
- Reconnect the electrical connector to the fuel shutoff solenoid (2) before you operate the engine.
