Start By:
- Remove the flywheel. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Flywheel - Remove".

- Remove crankshaft drive gear (22).
- Remove six bolts (18) and washers in order to remove hydraulic pump adapter (17). Remove hydraulic pump adapter (17) and O-ring (16).

- Inspect the condition of bearings (15). If necessary, use Tool (A) to remove the bearings.

- Remove pump drive gear (12) .

- Remove two bolts (1) and washers. Remove cover (2). Inspect the condition of bearing (4) inside flywheel housing (5). If necessary, use Tool (A) to remove the bearing.

- Remove two bolts (6) and washers. Remove cover (8). Inspect the condition of bearing (4) inside flywheel housing (5). If necessary, use Tool (A) to remove the bearing.
- Remove three bolts (21) in order to remove idler gear shaft (20) .

- Remove idler gear (13) from the flywheel housing.
- Inspect the condition of bearings (19). If necessary, use Tool (A) to remove the bearings.
