NOTICE

  1. Remove plate assembly (1).

  2. Remove hood covers (2) and (3).

  3. Disconnect harness assembly (4) from the fuel level sensor and cut cable strap (5).

  4. Remove bolts (6) and move the solenoid valve group away from the fuel tank.

  5. Disconnect harness assemblies (7) and (8). Cut cable straps (9).

  6. Remove storage box cover (10) and the vandalism guards from the storage box.

  7. Remove bolt assembly (11) and bolts (12) and (13). Remove the storage box.

  8. Remove bolts (14) and cover (15).

  9. Remove bolts (16), bracket (18), and sleeves (17).

  10. Remove nut (19) and clip (20). Loosen clamp (21) and remove the hose from the fuel tank.

  11. Remove the bolts that fasten door assembly (22) to the machine.

  12. Close valve assembly (23) for the fuel supply hose. Loosen clamp (24) and remove the hose from the valve assembly. Remove nut (25) and clip (26).

  13. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to fuel tank (29).

  14. Remove bolts (27) and spacers (28) which secure fuel tank (29) to the excavator.

  15. Remove fuel tank (29). The weight of fuel tank (29) is approximately 99 kg (218 lb).
