Installation Procedure

1. Install a suitable lifting device on jaw (4). The weight of jaw (4) is approximately 618 kg (1362 lb). Position jaw (4) on the work tool.

2. Install pin (6). The weight of pin (6) is approximately 81 kg (179 lb).

3. Apply Tooling (B) to nut (5). Install nut (5). Use Tooling (A) to tighten nut (5) to a torque of 300 ± 50 N·m (221 ± 37 lb ft). After you torque nut (5), back off nut (5) until the nearest set of holes are aligned. Install the two bolts and the washers that secure nut (5) to the housing.

4. Install a suitable lifting device to cylinder (3). Position cylinder (3) on the work tool.

5. Install pin (2). The weight of pin (2) is approximately 49 kg (108 lb).

6. Install nut (1). Use Tooling (A) to tighten nut (1) to a torque of 300 ± 50 N·m (221 ± 37 lb ft). After you torque nut (1), back off nut (1) until the nearest set of holes are aligned. Install the two bolts and the washers that secure nut (1) to the jaw.
