  1. Open hood (1) to the fully OPENED position.

    Note: Ensure that there is no tension on springs (5), prior to removal.

  2. Remove bolts (3), support assembly (4), and spring (5). Repeat to the other side.

  3. Support hood (1) with a suitable lifting device. The weight of hood (1) is approximately 90 kg (200 lb). Disconnect support (2). Lower hood (1) to the CLOSED position.

  4. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to hood (1). Remove bolts (6) and hood (1).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install hood (1) in the reverse order of removal.
